Happy Trails Afterschool Club
Happy Trails Afterschool Club provides a safe, welcoming, and engaging Before and After School Care program for students attending Westglades Middle School.
Our program is designed specifically with middle school students in mind. We provide a structured yet flexible environment where students can complete homework, socialize with friends, participate in enrichment and recreational activities, and relax before or after the school day.
Program Overview
We understand that middle school students need a balance of independence, structure, and supervision. Our program provides students with a safe and supportive environment while offering age-appropriate activities and opportunities to connect with their peers.
Students may participate in:
- Homework assistance and dedicated study time
- Enrichment activities
- STEM and creative projects
- Indoor and outdoor sports and recreation
- Games and group activities
- Leadership opportunities
- Social-emotional learning activities
- Supervised free time and opportunities to socialize with friends
Before School Care
Our Before School Care program provides students with a safe and supervised environment before the school day begins.
Students have the opportunity to prepare for their school day, socialize with friends, complete schoolwork, or participate in quiet activities.
After School Care
Our After School Care program provides students with a safe, structured, and engaging environment after the school day ends.
Students have time to complete homework, participate in activities, socialize with friends, and enjoy supervised recreational opportunities.
Program Hours
Before School Care:
7:00 AM - 8:45 PM
After School Care:
3:45 PM - 6:00 PM
Care is also available on Early Release Days for registered students.
Registration Process
Space is limited and families are encouraged to register as soon as possible.

Registration is not complete until all required forms and payments have been received.
Payment Information
Payments are processed through Brightwheel.
Families will receive invoices, payment information, and important program communication through the Brightwheel app.
Please make all payments by the listed due date. A $25 late fee may be assessed for payments received after the deadline.
Families should contact Happy Trails Afterschool Club if they do not receive an invoice or have questions regarding their account.
